There is a love that is stronger than death.
A love that reaches across time, distance, your yesterday, and your tomorrow.
This love whispers "Not that one, that one is my anointed, that one is my beloved.
Touch not one hair on their head."
We are in a battle, and this battle is not against flesh and blood, but against evil in high places.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12
In this life everything is not as it seems, we have an enemy and he has come to steal, kill, and destroy.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10
And if the story ended their then it would be a hopeless battle, a forever night.
But God.
God reaches across the chasm formed by sin, and lays His son on the altar ...for us.
And if that had been the end, that would have been a bitter sweet story.
But He rose again.
Yes the Passover lamb, the Savior of the world, rose again.
His name is Jesus.
Because of Him I can live, because of His sacrifice I lay my life down daily, and say have your way Lord.
For I can trust the Man who died for me.
I can trust the One who loves me more, and deeper than anyone could possibly attempt to.
So the battle is won, it is finished He said. Still the enemy who is perishing desires to blind the eyes of many, he would doom others with a fate similar to his, for he is hate, envy, and lies personified, and as much as God loves, he despises.
But God.
Has given us weapons that are not man made, weapons that tear down strongholds.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.
2 Corinthians 10:4
So what can we surmise from this ? In all things God has made us overcomers.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11
It doesn't mean that we won't go through difficult times in this life, but it does mean that God will always cause us to triumph.
